An Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll conducted shortly before the shutdown began finds that both Republicans and Democrats are far more likely to include immigration in their list of top issues facing the country this year compared with a year ago.

The New Jerusalem Wall
Rev 21:10  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,  Rev 21:11  Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;  Rev 21:12  And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan delivered a galvanizing speech on the House floor Tuesday evening to fight for President Donald Trump’s border wall.

Meanwhile, the government shutdown continues as Democrats refuse to offer $5.7 billion to secure America’s southern border.

What is U.S. Government Foreign Assistance?

Foreign assistance is aid given by the United States to other countries to support global peace, security, and development efforts, and provide humanitarian relief during times of crisis. It is a strategic, economic, and moral imperative for the United States and vital to U.S. national security.

Today, the U.S. manages foreign assistance programs in more than 100 countries around the world through the efforts of over 20 different U.S. government agencies.

If we are giving almost 28 billion dollars to other countries in foreign aid in 2019, why can't congress approve 5 billion dollars for a wall? Most Democrats and a few RINO Republicans oppose President Trump's proposal to build a wall on the southern U.S. border because they want open borders and no restrictions on who is allowed into our country.  Most citizens of the United States support legal immigration. We want border security.

We don't want terrorists to enter our country.

There are an estimated 8.5 million illegal aliens living in the United States, including nearly 300,000 fugitive aliens who have opted for life as a fugitive rather than submitting to a final order of deportation. Stowaways arriving in U.S. ports and jumping ship are almost a daily occurrence. These illegal migrants find it easy to blend in among the tens of millions of foreigners who arrive legally in the United States each year to travel, study, or work. Compounding the problem is widespread trafficking in forged or fraudulently obtained passports, licenses, and other identification documents. Baseline documents such as social security cards, birth certificates, and driver’s licenses are particularly subject to abuse. Our generous welfare systems, healthcare facilities, and educational systems cannot be maintained without additional funding due to the number of illegal immigrants entering our country requiring social services and assistance from the local, state, and federal governments.

Would you want your taxes to increase significantly to provide assistance to people who come here illegally?                          Most U.S. citizens and taxpayers would probably say NO!
